Overview
EasyBender XR is automatic rotary steel rule processor/bender. It's the first and only machine to process and bend curved rule for rotary dies. Combined with the EasyBender flat rule processor/bender, The EasyBender XR now achieves full automation in rotary diemaking for the first time in history.
The EasyBender XR bends, notches, miters and cuts 4 point or 3 point curved rule for 66-inch circumference rotary cutting dies, as well as automatically or manually placing relief notches.
This machine has been designed with features similar to our current EasyBender X2 straight rule processor/benders. Reliability, accuracy, efficiency, ease of use, and compact design has always been hallmarks of SDS Korea’s equipment, and the EasyBender XR is no exception.
This new technology allows diemakers to dramatically reduce the time spent manually bending, locating, notching, and mitering the steel rule. Combined with the EasyBender X2, the EasyBender XR now completes the full automation of the rotary diemaking process for the first time in history.
The EasyBender XR comes standard with a Pentium Computer, Windows XP operating system, 17” LCD monitor, pre-installed software for processing and bending sections of the die design, integrated controller, bending module, a cut-off tool, 1 backup cut-off tool, and two tooling modules including 1 miter cut tool, 1 straight cut tool, 1 bridge notch tool, and 2 relief notches.
One unique feature of the EasyBender XR is its ability to place relief notches only where they are needed. This allows diemakers to choose how many relief notches to use, or not to use any. This simply makes a stronger and better die. |
